Heres a little about me.
I'm Gray Struznik, the owner-operator of OP Fly Fishing.
My Obsession for Spey fishing began at the age of 17, and as a second-generation guide, you could say this path is in my blood. I’ve been fortunate to pursue fish across the globe, but my focus has been on chasing fish with a Spey rod, with steelhead and Atlantic salmon topping the list.
I'm a Sage and Rio ambassador, with over 20 years of guiding experience in Alaska, including 10 years as a lodge manager in the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every trip. Since 2010, I’ve proudly operated OP Fly Fishing from my hometown of Forks, WA.
Some of my most favorite years of fishing were chasing Rooster fish in Baja, the migratory Rainbows of Bristol bay, summer run Steelhead on theThompson river and Atlantic salmon on the Gaspe Peninsula. Still nothing really beats "home" the OP and its winter run Steelhead are hard to beat.
